Crystalline

The title refers to a track from Bjork's new album, Biophillia. Very interesting album and o-so inspirational! My obsession for this month would definitely be these gorgeous precious stone jewelry (the semi-precious kind is a cool and cheaper alternative at Mr Price)is sooo beautiful and is so reflective. Any outfit for summer would look so beautiful with these as it's so earthy and not as "heavy" as gold or silver. :)

Mondo Madness

Right now I am so obsessed with project runway, finished watching Season 8 and Mondo Guerra was by far my favourite designer of that season. His design aesthetic was really unique and quirky. He was also so inpsirational, as he came out with his HIV+ status on the show after keeping it a secret for 10 years.

Fashion and people in fashion does not always have to be so one dimensional and all about clothes. GO MONDO!

Letter to Self...

You were born through a mother and father who are the earthly manifestations of your start. You are a journeyman through this vortex called life, and although the road was not always easy, everything you did, both good and bad, where set upon your path to make you stronger. The trajectory of your life has not been one of superstardom and illustrious success, but you have stayed true to yourself.
